LEADERSHIP COACHING FOR THE HUMAN
AT WORK
OWN YOUR CAREER
If you are currently employed, you are probably looking for organization sponsored coaching. With this, your employer will pay the cost of your coaching sessions. However, our work together is still confidential, honored, and held with the utmost integrity.
The most important aspect of a successful coaching engagement is the relationship between Coach and Client. It must be abundantly clear that we can talk about all the things that matter to you, what’s really happening, and what you wish was happening. It’s imperative that the trust between us allows you to express, expand and experiment safely so that you can give yourself permission to try, stumble and get playful, and try new approaches. I am the ally of the client- this is our container and you can’t do it wrong. If you show up and do the work- the work being whatever you decide is important to you- you truly can’t fail at coaching.
That said, if you are self-employed or currently seeking employment and wish to engage me for coaching, you’re in the right place! This page will fill you in on my approach to coaching, and you can apply to work with me from there. If not, click the button below.
Is it time for coaching?
Even in the best of times, many of the most accomplished and talented people we know stumble or stall on the path to lead their way and make work, work better.
Coaching is a thought partnership. It’s a unique collaboration that can help you create time and commitments for yourself and arrive at a clearer understanding of HOW you work and lead.
Whether you’re trying to meet personal and professional challenges with resourcefulness, hone your leadership skill and confidence, become more effective in developing and supporting your team, or have better conversations that lead to more successful relationships, we’ll work together to create insights and actions that get you unstuck and move you forward.
My approach to coaching
When you show up more fully for yourself through coaching, you’ll be amazed at what you can create.
A lot of coaching is unappealing because it assumes a clinical distance- that people think they have to be speaking from on high to coach people. On the contrary, I value an eye-level, very human approach. I don’t think I know better than you. Instead, what I can do is help you slow down, get out of autopilot, and be deliberate about how you engage and the choices you make. These minor modifications can make a huge difference. I’m really interested in people, rather than in the razzle dazzle.
To speak frankly, coaching is becoming a bloated profession that is oriented primarily around how people should maximize their output or create radical change. People don’t need radical change, they need an opportunity to see themselves.
This means that when you work with me, you take the lead in the coaching relationship. Together, we explore the things that matter most to you, uncover the attributes, skills, and experiences that make you uniquely who you are, eliminate roadblocks, and help you create change that lasts.

You bring your wholeness, context, concerns, aspirations, truth, and ideas into our work. I’ll bring curiosity, listening and creativity, tools, strategies, experience, and expertise into the relationship.
What people experience
Over the years, I’ve found that it’s not necessarily just your professional experience that shifts as we work together: It’s your ability to see yourself fully, think strategically, and confidently handle life’s inevitable ups and downs as you move toward what you truly want.
Leaders of organizations that engage senior and executive coaching report increased satisfaction and growth, as well as enhanced business impact and effectiveness.
Clients become more courageous around what they need and are not afraid of stress. They see stress as a sign rather than a result.
Clients are more clear about where their strengths lie, and what they want to do more of. Because of this, they gain a clearer sense of their agency.
Clients become more effective at work because they are more themselves. Many clients have described that they feel liberated.
Clients experience more compassion for their teams.
Clients invest in themselves outside of work, and the impact of this is felt at work.
Rather than being judged, graded or evaluated, clients feel like they have more options and more clarity about what is important to them.

You’re hungry for something to be different in your work and life.
COACHING REALLY WORKS WHEN
You believe you can make changes happen in your own life (with the right support and a proven approach).
You understand that the work of change and growth requires an honest look inside, at the beliefs, habits, and thoughts that shape your decisions.
You have an openness to learning and trying new things.
You’re willing to have honest conversations with colleagues, friends, and managers as part of your personal discovery.
You are willing to create time to do 1-3 hours of independent work per week to advance your progress.

PARTNER, LEGAL SERVICES
The whole way I think about my experience and value in my career has changed because of our work together. Where I used to feel trapped by my level of experience and my seniority, I now feel that word you always talk about: agency. This is partially because you gave me tools and a framework to see my work more clearly, and partially because your approach is grounded in possibilities. I feel totally different as I have interviews and networking conversations, and I know I’m confident and persuasive as a result. Thank you!

VP GLOBAL CUSTOMER SERVICE
I just wanted to say how beneficial it has been to have Nayla as a coaching partner in my leadership development. Having her insight in helping me understand how I can be more impactful in my role, as well as helping me better understand myself and communicate with my manager, have been essential to my growth.
I have had many 360’s and coaches over the years and I have to say that I would wish for every person that they have someone as insightful, artful in delivery yet direct, compassionate and approachable as Nayla. That is truly what can help our leaders in their development.

DIRECTOR OF CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
I wanted to share my first performance review in this new role with you, and really just say “thank you!” Connecting with you has been the best career decision that I’ve made in a long time. I appreciate you and all of the great work that you do.
Casey C.
DIRECTOR OF COACHING
Nayla is an incredibly effective and insightful coach (not to mention warm, approachable, and fun to work with!). She operates from a place of great empathy, but with a bias toward action. I left each coaching with a clear plan, valuable perspective, and having drawn on Nayla’s considerable knowledge and experience. With Nayla’s wisdom and guidance, I was able to successfully navigate a difficult career transition and move forward with confidence.

GLOBAL HEAD OF CONTENT, DIGITAL MEDIA
I worked with Nayla last year through a major career transition, having left a large enterprise software company to work for a small but popular b2c mobile app for teens.
I can confidently say I wouldn’t still be in this role, and as equipped as I am, if it weren’t for Nayla. She’s able to tackle issues from the most high-level and philosophical (“What am I doing with my life? Is this really who I am?”) to the most tactical (“How do I get from a to b on this project? How do I resolve this conflict?”) with incredible insights and practical advice. During each session, she helped me distill my problems down to their essence and supported me as I created next steps that were applicable and manageable. From the first session, I loved her tone and sense of humor and felt confidence in having this complete stranger coach me through what can only be described as a professional minefield, and I got a lot more than I bargained for…by the end, I knew myself better in all aspects of my life, not just professional. She ultimately helped me carve my dream job out of a very spiky role and I express my gratitude by referring every single person I know to her. Thank you, Nayla!!
